He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera (Milan, Italy) and after that he was awarded the first prize "Annunciata" at the Annunciata Gallery in Milan. During his career he has also decorated churches and illustrated books for the Italian publisher Mursia.

His painting is light and delicate. The subjects are mostly still lifes, flowers but also human figures.

Scazzosi is a figurative painter, but not a hyper-realist one. From a distance, his works seem real, but up close, the brushstrokes and traces of the drawing stand out.

His works of art are elaborated with great consciousness and knowledge of the artistic technique.

Doriano Scazzosi is appreciated by the public and the critics and he exhibits in Italy and abroad.
